****************      ******************

Our aims are to help less fortunate members of the community, locally and worldwide.

Leading up to Christmas each year we have our Tree of Hope which raises over £2.000.00 for a chosen charity.

In 2007 and 2008 it was for CHUF the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital.

In 2009 it was The Anthony Nolan Trust.

This year the money will go to Butterwick children’s hospice.

Last year we raised and donated over £8000.00 to many different charities including Hearing dogs , Multiple sclerosis , Eve appeal, Breast Cancer, Help 4 Heroes, SOS save our soldiers (welfare packs which are sent to the soldiers) in Afghanistan etc. and many small local donations.

We supply emergency Toilet bags and requisites to the local women’s refuge.

We have a day with young children from Chernobyl treat them to a day out and lunch.

Local ,National and International Charities have received  donations  from our  fund raising efforts.

We raise the funds in many ways from serving refreshments, holding fashion shows, ladies evenings coffee mornings, as Stewards in a Bike ride and much much more.
