Our aims are to help less fortunate members of the community, locally and worldwide. At Christmas for the last two years we have had our Tree of Hope which raised over £2.000.00 in both 2007 and 2008 for CHUF the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital. This year the fund will go to The Anthony Nolan Trust.
We have donated Money to SOS save our soldiers for welfare packs which are sent to the soldiers in Afghanistan etc. We have also sent emergency Toilet bags and requisites to the local women’s refuge. We treated 13 young children from Chernobyl to a farm trip with lunch.
Many Local ,National and International Charities have received donations from our fund raising efforts. We raise the funds in many ways from serving refreshments holding fashion shows, ladies evenings as Stewards in a Bike ride and much much more.
