Thirsk & Northallerton members joined with Easingwold District Lions Club to organise the 2011 District 105NE Convention. This picture shows the Committee having received the appreciation certificates from the District Governor.

Thirsk Lions took to the streets of Northallerton for "Lions World Sight Day". SpecSavers on the High Street offered eye tests and members of the Club spoke to members of the public encouraging them to get their eyes tested.
As a result of the 4 hour initiative 20 persons booked an eye sight test and many more took away leaflets.
