
Youth Football - MD105 - U15 CUP

Youth Football is a national competition for young people aged 14 yrs. on 1st September in the football season for which the tournament is to be played.
Teams must have all players registered with their appropriate Football Association under SFA (Scotland) or FA (England). It gives young people the opportunity to play together and work as a team. The national final is held in a league ground (normally in England)
Lions Clubs may enter a team from their own area or combine to sponsor a ZONE team/s

Wigginton Grasshoppers (York Minster Lions – 105C) beat Barnard Castle (105NE -Teasdale Lions)
This 2nd Round game of the 2010 2011 5 Nations Youth Football Competition was played on the afternoon of Saturday 15th January 2011 at the second attempt. The previous attempt in December was cancelled because of the snow.
All credit to Teasdale Lions to turned out in force and helped transport the team. Credit also the attitude of the manager and the team over both games, they acted in a sporting manner at all times.


30th October 2010 - District Youth Football final
Barnard Castle Juniors U14 (sponsored by Teesdale Lions)
beat Greystone Rovers (sponsored by Dumfries Lions) 5 : 3
Teesdale Lions hosted the game which was played at Tenfields in Barnard Castle.
