Lions Young Leaders in Service


What are these awards ?
The awards recognise young people who provide significant levels of service to their communities.
There are two award levels.
The "Silver Seal Award" to young people who provise at least 50 hours of community service during a 12 month period.
The"Gold Seal Award" to young people who provise at least 100 hours of community service during a 12 month period.
Who may participate?
Young people between the ages of 11 an 18 (school years 7-13) are eligible.
What types of Service qualify ?
Service to the Elderly Safety Trainng Service to Children Service to parents or family
Education Environment Public Health Services for the homeless/hungry
Taking a Leaders' Role Helping the Lions
